Program Expenses vs Fundraising and Administrative Expenses:

Aging Research Programs vs Elder Helpers and Lifestyle Master:

All Expenses:

Information Management:
By a process of audit, we collect information from organizations involved with aging research. We then regroup this information and analyze it in order to identify opportunities, potential for improvement, overlapping, possible collaboration, etc. This program has the most impact on aging research and is designed to improve efficiency globally. We also provide translation of documents to facilitate the exchange of information.
Raising Awareness:
One of our main programs is to raise awareness on the absolute necessity for aging research. We spend a lot of time promoting aging research throughout the internet.
We are working hard to shed light on the absolute necessity of aging research and to tell the world that it offers a different perspective on all aspects of our life regardless of how old we are today.
The goal of this action is to develop a collective consciousness of this necessity and of the possibilities that such treatments offer. This program also serves to communicate to the public the interest of aging research in fighting aging diseases like cancer, Alzheimer's, heart disease, diabetes, and many others.
By raising awareness, we know that we increase the chances for new ambitions, new initiatives and new chances of successfully defeating aging diseases; offering all of us the opportunity to see the future with more possibilities and bigger dreams.
Publications and Studies:
We publish studies uncovering the effects and implications of aging treatments relating to human genetics and heredity, as well as, the opportunities and risks of extended lifespan due to environmental, economic, and sociological factors, (etc.).
We believe that those topics are of utmost importance to help frame today’s and tomorrow’s research by helping to identify a direction for aging research while carefully considering all aspects of their impact.
Special Interest Research:
We use a rigorous screening process to determine what research projects to select for our grants. The procedure is as follows:
- First, we have a board meeting to discuss all the applicants’ strengths and weaknesses.
- We do an investigation of any applicants we wish to consider funding.
- We run it by a Scientific Advisory Board, who has at least two members with a postgraduate degree in biology.
- The Board has a final vote to determine what research project gets a grant.
We limit our grants to other organizations recognized as exempt under Code section 501(c)(3). This ensures a rigorous control by the IRS that the grantees act in the interest of the general public.
Elder Helpers:
The elder helpers program was born from both the realization of our potential to draw volunteers from our large number of supporters and our desire to help out the existing elder population now. The program matches volunteers with older people in need of help within their own community.
Lifestyle Master:
Although we do not push for our supporters and members to adopt a certain lifestyle, it has been clearly established that chances of healthy longevity are greatly related to one’s lifestyle. This program is based on pleasure through optimum health. While it is not everyone’s priority, we find it necessary to help provide our supporters with the information needed to improve their odds of good health and well being by adopting simple good habits.
Fundraising Expenses:
We keep our fundraising expenses very low due to the use of the internet. This allows us to direct the majority of the funds towards the main goals.
Administrative Expenses:
We keep our administrative expenses very low, again, thanks to the technology age, and our volunteer staff.
